Yoga with Young Children

July 13, 2008

There are many simple yoga activities that parents can facilitate with their children at home. One great resource that has helped to make yoga a fun experience in our house is Yoga Pretzels. Yoga Pretzels consists of colorful, laminated cards that depict playful yoga poses for young children. On the back of each card are pictures that clearly outline each step involved in getting in and out of every pose. The girls love trying the fun poses and feel a great sense of accomplishment each time they are successful.
