Creating Valentines: Mini Chalkboards

There are so many incredible ideas around the web when it comes to creating homemade Valentines. For our seven-year-old daughter we took our inspiration from this great birthday invitation.

We decided to try out the chalkboard contact paper that I had been curious about for sometime now. We cut it into small rectangles and stuck them to kraft colored pieces of card stock. Then we punched two small holes at the bottom so we could tie on a piece of chalk. We ended up with sweet, little, miniature chalkboards for each of her friends. Hopefully they will provide a dose of creative (sugar-free) self-expression!
