Simple Pleasures: Making Paper Chains
One day on a whim, I bought a pack of metallic paper strips from our local craft store. It sat untouched in our craft closet for a couple of weeks. On a recent rainy day, I pulled them out, left them on the table and voila!—they turned out to be the source of a fun-filled afternoon…
The process of making the paper chains was great for strengthening the girls’ fine-motor skills and their hand-eye coordination.
When they were finished the girls…
measured themselves… 
counted the rings…
measured the whole chain…
…and enjoyed decorating their room!
