Patterns in Nature
If you want to treat yourself and your children to a wonderfully eye-opening experience, take a nature walk and focus on discovering as many different types of patterns as possible. It is a wonderful exercise in slowing down and noticing the little things. Once you start taking the time to look closely at what surrounds you, the world opens up in a whole new way. The complete and utter beauty of it becomes spellbinding. Children naturally move through the world this way, so it is up to us grown-ups to remind ourselves to make the time and take it all in.
