Our Herb Garden

May 19, 2009

We recently planted the goodies that the Easter Bunny delivered. We used a wonderful kit called Kidzerbs, which includes 13 different organic herbs and a book, that describes activities for and the uses of each herb.

We also had a wonderful time making plant markers to help us identify each herb. After printing out pictures of each herb in full bloom, the girls cut them out, wrote each name and then affixed the picture to the corresponding plant marker.

Now that they are starting to sprout we are doing a lot of activities to learn more about herbs… so stay tuned.

How are your gardens coming along?
