Our Birthday Book

August 28, 2008

Our Birthday BookOur youngest daughter turned four yesterday. This year, we started a new birthday tradition that was a big hit and that we will revisit for a long time to come. We created a Birth Day Book for her, which contains pictures of us as a pregnant couple, positive pictures of her birth and snapshots of her first precious moments with us. She sat spellbound as we relived the story of her birth with loving detail. We followed up the experience by reading the book, On The Day You Were Born, by Debra Frasier.

Sharing with Daddy

The Birthday Girl tells Daddy the story of her birth, “one more time.”

Thanks Denise! After so many years, it is still the best part of our birthday celebrations…

How coincidental that I should see this post from so long ago today on my little ones birthday. Last night before bed we got out his album and talked about when he was born.
