Nature’s Gift Tags

It is always nice to add a personal touch when wrapping gifts. I am infamous in the family for the signature brown kraft paper wrapped presents. This year I thought it would be fun to add a splash of color with homemade hang tangs.

I took the plunge and invested in a hang tag paper punch—and it has turned out to be so much fun!

I introduced the idea of taking outdoor photos that we would use for our gift tags to the girls and they immediately got into picture taking mode. Initially, I was going to focus on evergreen shots, but they took it to a whole other level with close-ups of wood, moss, dried up leaves and even some interesting patterns on our walkway. The results were amazing! I never cease to be amazed by the creativity children exhibit when presented with open-ended endeavors…

We printed the photos in the 3×5 format and then cut out each picture individually. Next we stamped each photo and used a single whole punch to make a whole on top.
