I have been inspired by a number of weaving activities for children that I have been spotting around the web lately. Weaving offers such a wonderful opportunity to create, collect, use our hands and to work together.

Recently, when I spotted these hooks, I decided to create a loom in our living room. We have had lots of fun gathering materials and seeing them come together. We decided that this will be an ever-evolving piece of art in our home that will change as the seasons of our life change… Stay posted, as halloween approaches I suspect that it may take on a bit of a spookier aura!
