Having a “writing area” where children can easily access materials they might need encourages authentic writing experiences. We have letter paper, list paper, and a variety of blank note cards out in their playroom.

On their table, we have our name chest, a basket that contains colored pencils, black pens, pencils and alphabet stickers. We also have a mini alphabet chart sticker in clear sight.
