Good Old-Fashioned Hopscotch

June 1, 2011

We have been blessed with perfect hopscotch weather. When I was young I would spend hours playing hopscotch with my friends from the neighborhood, so I was excited about initiating the girls into this timeless tradition. As I introduced the game to my daughters I was reminded of just how challenging it can be and how great it is for developing large motor skills and hand-eye coordination. The best part is that it is just downright fun for both children and grown-ups alike!
