Berry Dip and Roll

March 11, 2009

Berry DipOur oldest daughter brought home the Spatulatta Cook Book from her school library. It is a fun, child-friendly cookbook with doable recipes. The authors Isabella (age 13) and Olivia (age 11) Gerasole, also have a wonderful website that features cooking videos created specifically for children.

After careful deliberation and a lot of sticky notes (on their favorite recipes), the girls decided to try the Berry Dip and Roll recipe. It is very easy and tastes delicious!

Ingredients:
1 pint of strawberries
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon
1 cup sour cream

Simply mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon in a separate bowl. Next, dip the strawberries in the sour cream and then in the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture – and eat away!
