Alphabet Search

June 24, 2008

One rainy day I pulled out a bunch of old magazines (Your Big Backyard & Ladybug), some child size scissors and challenged the girls to an “alphabet search”. They loved looking through the magazines to find and cut out the letters. I gave my five year old, a chart with lower case letters and my three year old had the upper case version. This experience is great for their fine-motor development as well. The inspiration for this activity came from Kids Craft Weekly’s Alphabet Crafts issue.
